What does “Modern SCience says about “Lord=shiva’s festival-,MAHASHIVRATRI”???
Legends and the legendaries apart, why this day and night are held in such importance in the yogic traditions is because of the possibilities it presents to a spiritual seeker. Modern science has gone through many phases and arrived at a point today where they are out to prove to you that everything that you know as life, everything that you know as matter and existence, everything that you know as the cosmos and galaxies, is just one energy which manifests itself in millions of ways.
What is the meaning of the word”Yogi” and what is the science behind “mahashivratri” according to Indian logic and the behaviour??
This scientifically proven logics and mystery and the factt is an experiential reality in “”Lord shivayogi””. The word “yogi” means one who has realized the oneness of the Existence. When I say “yoga,” I am not referring to any one particular practice or system. All longing to know the unbounded, all longing to know the oneness in the Existence is yoga. The night of Mahashivratri offers a person an opportunity to experience this.
Even the sun’s light, you could stop it with your hand and leave a shadow of darkness behind.
But darkness never lasts forever there's every morning for coming after every night. And this is an undenied fact that “for all after and every and almost all happiness comes after every bad sufferings”.”
The immature minds in the world have always described darkness as the devil. But when you describe the divine as all-pervading, you are obviously referring to the divine as darkness, because only darkness is all-pervading. It is everywhere. It does not need any support from anything. Light always comes from a source that is burning itself out. It has a beginning and an end. It is always from a limited source. Darkness and the bad worries has no source. It is a source unto itself. It is all-pervading, everywhere, omnipresent. So when we say Shiva, it is this vast emptiness of existence. It is in the lap of this vast emptiness that all creation has happened. It is that lap of emptiness that we refer to as the Shiva.
Marriage of “”Lord Shiva And Maataa-Parvati””--
Shivaratri, or Mahashivratri, is the night of Shiva and one of the most auspicious days dedicated to “LORD--SHIVA” and “MAATA PARVATI’S MARRIAGE”. There is no fun or merrymaking as in other Hindu festivals..Here is a simple method to perform Shivratri Puja. So what is important is devotion but on complicated rituals.
We pray to “Lord Shiva” and& “Maataa Parvati” for our best life, auspicious day, wealth, health,a sound mind and health, a prosperous life ahead.. Prayers for Shivratri You can chant any one or more of the prayers dedicated to Lord Shiva or simply chant ‘Om Namah Shivaya.’ (You can find details about Shivratri Prayers and Mantras here) Fasting on Shivratri Most people fast for the entire day. But if you are unable to keep fast for 24-hours, then you can always opt for a single vegetarian diet or fruit or juice diet. If you are under medications, don’t attempt to fast and take proper advice from your doctor, if you intent on fasting. Time of Prayer during Shivratri The entire day is dedicated to Lord Shiva. So you can start the prayers from the morning by visiting a Shiva temple. Most Shiva devotees start the prayers in the evening after 20:00 hrs and continue till 04:00 hrs in the morning. The reason is that Lord Shiva is believed to have appeared during this period in a form that the human eye can accommodate.
